What is the possible size for the eyepiece of a Bausch and Lomb Professional telescope?

The age is unknown. It is black, and it says Bausch and Lomb Professional on the side of it. I've been looking for eyepieces, and the typical sizes are 1 1/4" (1.25") and 2." Is it possible for the size to ever be 1 3/8" (1.375). I searched for that size and couldn't find a thing.

I believe your eypeice may be missing the part which actually inserts into the tube. It’s not uncommon for the eyepiece tubes to have an inner diamter of 1.25″ and an outer diamter of 1.375″. Having an eypeice with a maximum diamter of 1.375 with a smaller diamter portion of 1.25″ fitting into the tube ensures that the eyepeice won’t slide into places it doesn’t belong if the locking mechanism fails on some types of telescopes.
The measurement of an eyepiece is usually the focal length measurement. The smaller the number the bigger magnification. Should be eyepiece (flat round part of actual lens) and a tail piece, (round cylinder that fits into the scope). The tailpiece is usually a standard size in diameter.
