we just happen to get our daughter her first one this past Christmas and the one we got would be perfect for him it is a Bushnell 150 power Astro/Terrestrial Telescope with Tripod It is super easy to use and it does not have all the weird gadgets to go on it we all love it and my 4 year old already takes it out to the back yard and looks through it all by herself. try looking on ebay for one thats where we got ours and with shipping it was less than 30$.

It uses two lenses with different magnifications. The more powerful one is the eyepiece and the less powerful one is the objective. To get the power of the telescope, you divide the power of the eyepiece by the power of the objective lens.

A Cassegrain scope is type of reflecting scope. Both refractors and reflectors can view deep sky objects. Reflecting telescopes offer the ability to have wider apertures for a lower cost than refracting telescopes. The the amateur community we say that "Aperture is King" In other words the larger the opening (Directly relates to the size of the primary reflecting mirror) the more you can see. Magnification plays only a small role in purchasing a scope. So stay away form scopes that advertise 400X als stay away from department store scopes.

Fifty years ago, it used to be very common for people to make their own telescopes. Nowadays it has become very rare, because commercial telescopes have become relatively inexpensive. One result of this is that it is very hard to find the parts needed to build your own scope. Unless you have a very strong motivation to learn how to do this, and to track down the parts needed, I wouldn't recommend building your own scope. Because the parts are hard to find, they are very expensive, and a home made telescope will cost many times more than a commercially built telescope. Labour is so much cheaper in China where almost all telescopes are made nowadays.

poor compaction on the soil before it was poured,and not enough base material to support the weight of the slab of concrete. Setting is also a reason ,the concrete could have been poured where the the ground had been dozed and the builder didn't wait the year he was supposed to before he started building. The concrete may have been poured to thin to support the weight of the load on the floor. Concrete steel may have not been put in the floor before it was poured and caused the the floor to be too weak to support the weight on the floor.

In a telescope where you can change the magnification it is a reflecting telescope and the eyepiece goes in the side. What you are actually doing is using a small telescope to look at a small part of the captured image and enlarge it for your eye – you are not changing the light capturing ability or enlargement of the over all telescope.
In a refracting telescope with the viewing on the end through lenses, you are using lenses the same way the camera does – adjusting the focal length and viewing the result.

well my husband works for saturn and they discussed this issue with them. GM might dump saturn…if they do they will keep other GM makes…so, you might take your car to a GM dealer..like Cadillac or GM ..I believe they have make saturn parts available for 10 years after closing. all warranties will be honored etc… as long as GM is still in business with or without saturn you will be okay!
