PLEASE ANSWER!why would you need the vital powertank 17?
You can’t run the scope without a power source. If you’re going to use the scope near an AC outlet, you can use the AC adapter. Usually, though, very dark places don’t have many AC outlets, and you’ll want the many hours of DC current that the PowerTank offers.
i got this telescope today man watch my unboxing in my chanell
I love unboxing expensive hobby equipment goodies
Andy- it was about US$2100 for everything. Fortunately I found a seller (Adorama) that was offering free shipping, plus Celestron has been offering $300 off the CGEM models lately.
wow that is a good price for all this stuff. in germany only the mount with tripod costs 1400 euros
I’m curious — how much of that 1400 Euros is VAT or a similar tax?
how much all this stuff???
Awesome unboxing man.

It is unusual to have the collimation change significantly in an SCT due to light bouncing around during transportation. That may be different if it encountered any serious shocks, but it sounds like it did not see that. What is more common is that the scope has not come to thermal equilibrium before the collimation is done. This can result in relatively big changes and subsequent headaches. It may take a couple of hours to accomplish this, and it will be affected if you use a dew heater. Another issue is magnification. Are you using your highest power eyepiece when you collimate? If not, you may want to try that also.
Good Luck and Clear Skies.

Hello, sh…
Magnification is the result of dividing the focal length of your eyepiece (in this case, 32mm) into the focal length of the telescope (again, this case, 2800mm).
This how you figure 'power'.
So, 2800/32=87.5X
I hope this helps you.
Peace,
Bobby
