Amazon.com Product Description
If you've got a telescope or spotting scope equipped with a two-inch focuser, you will want to consider adding the Celestron 94305 Two-inch Eyepiece and Filter Kit. Featuring several of Celestron's high-quality accessories, this kit can be used with virtually any telescope or spotting scopes, regardless of the manufacturer, with a two-inch focuser.
Included in the kit are:
- Three E-Lux two-inch eyepieces, featuring a three-element, fully multicoated optical design with a 56-degree apparent field of view (the 40mm has a 50-degree field of view), in 26mm, 32mm, and 40mm focal lengths.
- One two-inch Barlow 2x lens. This fully multicoated lens doubles the magnifying power of your eyepiece by doubling its effective focal length and gives you a total of six power combinations.
- Five colored eyepiece (lunar and planetary) filters, including one each of the following: Kodak Wratten numbers 12 (deep yellow), 21 (orange), 25 (red), 58 (green), and 80A (blue). These two-inch filters are designed to greatly enhance your enjoyment of the solar system.
- One two-inch, 90-degree, multicoated mirror diagonal that allows you to take advantage of the wider field of view provided by two-inch eyepieces. It fits all rear cells of Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes and includes an adapter to use with refractor telescopes.
The accessories are housed in a sturdy aluminum carrying case with a die-cut interior for convenient storage and protection. Each accessory is protected by Celestron's one-year limited warranty.

I got an Orion SkyQuest 8″ Dobsonian telescope for Christmas 2007 from my in-laws (thank you so much!!!) I have always wanted to get into amateur astronomy but never took the plunge. So now I have a nice telescope, and it came with a 25mm and a 10mm 1.25″ eyepiece. I wanted to add some more EPs so after some searching I came across this 2″ set from Celestron. I had wanted to try a 2″ EP so I bought this set. After a week of use, here are my findings:
First impressions: These things are HUGE. I mean holding one of these EPs is like holding a can of soda. They are not only big, but heavy. I wondered if I would have a balancing problem on the scope (I didn’t, even with barlow & EP combination). The case is OK, the EPs look great and come with top & bottom covers. The barlow has a bottom lens cover and a 2″ – 1.25″ adapter with a plug to keep out dust. The filters come in a case too. I was very pleased with the kit so far. The only disappointing thing was that two of the EPs had their rubber light shields (eye cups, or whatever you call those things) crushed by the cap. They were all wrinkley and looked pretty awful. The third EP didn’t have this defect, but it was shorter (the 26mm EP) so maybe the case crushed the cap down on the light shields… the EPs as I said are big, and the case top has to be pushed down to close. I have tried to call Celestron to see if I can get replacement light shields, but so far they have not responded to my email or answered the phone when I call. It doesn’t affect the performance of the EPs but it looks bad.
Performance: The view through these EPs is fantastic. Way more visibility than the 1.25″ EPs. I can watch Saturn for a long time before I have to reposition the scope; in the 1.25″ EPs it was gone in a matter of seconds. Orion nebula never looked bigger or better. With the 2″ – 1.25″ adapter, I can use the 2″ barlow with my 1.25″ EPs. Images in the 2″ EPs were sharp and bright.
Recommendation: If you want expansive, wide views, and your scope can take a 2″ EP, this kit is a very economical choice that provides great results.

So close, Panasonic, so close. They just announced a full HD 3D video camcorder. But it has only ONE eyepiece! Hello!
I have bought this piece and the viewfinder shows objects a bit larger than what i see them with my own eyes. Good adittion, the rubber tough is not perfect, but if i pull the rubber forward then i get a full view with almost no vignetting and i can see the status indicators too at the same time, its definetely a good adition to the dslr

“GTriage sorts out your email for you by first learning what messages are most important to you and then showing you which messages are important, with a big, bold “Important!” label. No clients, plugins, or special apps required, just keep using your email like normal. You can choose whether you want to single out important messages by labelling them “important” or to single out the unimportant messages by labelling them “blab.” Then GTriage learns from that over time without any extra effort on your part. All you have to do is continue using Gmail like you always do and the sifting and sorting happens right in your Gmail account.” – If this works as well as advertised then it provides good value at $3 per month.
