Try Bacardi 151 (151 proof-it's a rum). I think it's smooth-but usually don't drink it as a shot because it's so strong & just burns!

The best way is to start out with your 20mm lines which is lower in in power this way you will be able to zero in on Venus or mars easier, then put in your your 10m to increase the power, if you have a barlow lines use it along with your eye peace, the barlow lines doubles the power of your eye peaces.
To view venus or mars at the present you will have to get up early in the morning, Venus rises now at 5:00 a.m. and Mars rises at 1:00 a.m.

what I did for my 125 when I set it up for a stand I went to home depot and bought the longest kitchen cabinet I could get and then put a 6' counter top on it it works great and gives me extra storage and looks good
then for the hood I ordered the versa tops from fosters and smith on line it is important to know the brand of the tank since different brands do the suport frame on the top different
then I found some 4bulb units at another sight that were very inexspensive like 69 dollars each and got 2 of them and set them on top of the versa tops the lights I found were very low profile and look really good with this set up
this is about the cheapest way to go the led rope light wont provide enought light
you can also check for pea gravel at a store like home depot I picked up a few 50 lb bags at manards for 2.48 a bag and it looks really good in the tank
when all else fails you can sell me the tank lol good luck
Discover held a contest for astrophotographers who use Celestron equipment to capture the beauty of the heavens. The Bad Astronomy blogger, Phil Plait, judged the entries, and these are the 10 images (okay, 11there was a tie) he chose as the best of the bunch.
thanks!!! now i can do my deidara cosplay btw is any1 going to the kitacon in march?
This mount is definitely heavy-duty. I’m 6′2″ and about 225, and I find the mount to be slightly challenging to hoist onto the tripod. Very sturdy indeed.
God designed a square, He never goes against His own design. That is logical.
Are you talking about a planeterium? If so, they probably like to look at the stars, and it probably freaks them out when they are NOT high, so they get high to reduce the panic-inducing effects that only a planetarium can … induce.
When you view a celestial object through the eyepiece of a telescope, you are 'observing'.

Tracking with a scope is difficult because it moves too fast. You will have to turn off all locks and do it manually, but if you at least know when and where it is coming, it will be a bit easier. Good Luck.
ml of 5% Minoxidil solution (x):
0.05x + 0.3(125 – x) = 0.15(125)
0.05x + 37.5 – 0.3x = 18.75
0.25x = 18.75
x = 75
ml of 30% Minoxidil solution:
= 125 – 75
= 50
Answer: 75 ml of 5% and 50 ml of 30% Minoxidil solution

we have a saturn 114E telescope, when you look through the eyepiece, everything is upside down, why?:
It wa.. http://bit.ly/aiNVVM
This scope has a 900 mm focal length. So 900 / 4 = 225x is the magnification with the 4 mm eyepiece. For a 114 mm aperture, this is pushing it. Some say that a scope can deliver about 2 times the magnification as the aperture in millimeters. I find that i get clearer views at about the magnification of the aperture in millimeters. So, with my 10 inch (254 mm) telescope, i use about 240x max.
Also, it's tough to make good eyepieces under about 7 mm. I have a 5.1 mm eyepiece, and don't like it. I've tried others, and don't like them. But a cheap 2x barlow with a 10 mm eyepiece works very well in the same scope. Why doesn't the 5.1 act at least as good as a 2x barlow and a 10 mm? No idea.
For photography the rules are you have to pay attention to 1) focus, 2) focus, 3) focus, and 4) tracking. Tracking shouldn't be a problem with Polaris. I recently took some shots at 240x of Polaris with my point and shoot digital camera. With an 8 second exposure, i actually was able to get an image of Polaris B – the companion. The rig that holds the camera bounces around alot. So i use the camera's 10 second delay. Even so, only maybe 2 in 10 shots came out. The camera was still often bouncing around even after 10 seconds. And, this is a 254 mm scope. I was pleased to get the 9th magnitude star.
